Two Alaafins died in one year at the Bashorun's instance, and the second knew exactly what the first had been sent. A hundred and thirty days is long enough to understand the position and much too short to alter it. After Awonbioju the council installed Agboluaje, who lasted long enough to have a policy and was destroyed over it.
