Labisi

Seventeen days and no coronation. Labisi is in the registry now because a list of Alaafins that skips the ones who lasted a fortnight is a list of the ones who survived, which is a different subject. What the Oyo Mesi did to him in July 1754 it did again in October, and the interval is the measure of how completely the constitutional check had become a weapon.
