The corpus already holds `jewish_ashmedai`, Asmodeus, and Aeshma is generally taken to stand behind that figure: the Asmodeus of the Book of Tobit, who kills the seven husbands of Sarah before Raphael defeats him, carries strikingly similar themes to the Avestan demon of wrath. This registry held the receiving end of that transmission and not the sending end, which is a new variety of the fault this programme keeps finding — the tradition that borrowed was in the corpus and the tradition that lent was not. No `equated-with` edge is written, because the treatment consulted describes similar themes and a likely derivation rather than an identity, and because that kind is symmetric and would rewrite a record in another tradition on the strength of a scholarly reading.
