Pidray
Canaanite · deity · mythic · deity
Pidray is the daughter of Baal who actually got worshipped. All three of them are named in one passage of the Baal Cycle and their epithets are weather words, which is what you would expect from the household of a storm god; but Pidray turns up in the offering lists too, which the other two barely do. Her epithet is 'daughter of Ar', and what Ar means — light, mist, honeydew — has been argued over for as long as the tablets have been read.
