Aturamo'a is the second of the three petrified siblings of the Dobu-district Kula mythology. He and his brother Atu'a'ine face the sea near the Sanaroa lagoon, and voyagers on the Kula route give them offerings and recite spells at their stones to secure success in the exchange. His sister Sinatemubadiye'i, by contrast, was set facing inland and receives garden produce rather than valuables.
