Imsety

Imsety keeps the liver. He is the one with a human head, which in a set otherwise made of baboon, jackal and falcon makes him the easiest to identify and the hardest to explain — nobody is certain why one of the four should be human. Isis watches over him. The four brothers are the canopic jars, which means they are among the most physically present gods in Egyptian archaeology: there are thousands of them in museums, four at a time, each holding one organ of one person.
