Scion son of Ramesses IV by Queen Duatentopet; princely name Amenherkhepshef II. Fourth pharaoh of the 20th Dynasty (r. 1149-1145 BCE). His Year 4 is dated by the Great Wilbour Papyrus, the most important New-Kingdom land-survey document. Probably died of smallpox; burial delayed until Year 2 of Ramesses VI. Tomb KV9, begun for him, was usurped and enlarged by his uncle and successor Ramesses VI. No known offspring.
