Mortal princess of Thebes, daughter of Nycteus. Visited by Zeus as a satyr; conceived twin sons Amphion and Zethus. Persecuted by her uncle Lycus and his wife Dirce; rescued by her grown sons. Distinct from Antiope the Amazon.
