Scion — daughter of Priam and Hecuba, first wife of Aeneas and mother of Ascanius/Iulus; the Creusa of Troy (distinct from the registered greek_creusa_athens, mother of Ion). Lost in the flight from burning Troy, her shade appeared to Aeneas foretelling his Italian destiny (Aeneid 2). She is the maternal link in the Iulian descent: her son Ascanius (greek_apollod_ascanius) is the ancestor claimed by the gens Iulia.
