Numen — minor healing-goddess of the soothing of pain, wife of Asclepius (greek_asclepius, whose father-of relations to Machaon, Podalirius, Hygieia, Iaso, Aceso, Aegle, Panacea already stand) and mother of his physician-children. Authored as the named-but-absent mother supplied by the prose of greek_apollod_machaon ('Son of Asclepius ... by Epione') and greek_apollod_podalirius ('Son of Asclepius by Epione'). Telesphorus and Aratus are listed as half-siblings on the corpus children (by other mothers/the serpent-conception), so Epione is wired only to the seven shared Epione-children; her father Merops of Kos is named rather than wired.
