Eumolpus
Greek · deity · heroic age · Recorded classification
Demigod founder-priest of the Eleusinian Mysteries and eponym of the Eumolpidae; son of Poseidon (greek_hesiod_poseidon) and Chione the Boread (greek_chione_boread, authored in this batch). Named in Chione Boread's prose as her son by Poseidon and named in greek_erechtheus's prose as the Thracian-Eleusinian foe Erechtheus killed. The enemy-relation to greek_erechtheus is reciprocated within this transcript (both are authored here). His foster-mother Benthesicyme and the later Eumolpid hierophants lack entries and are named rather than wired.
