Quartigod son of Asclepius, personification of the convalescence-completion phase of healing. The Asclepieion canonical-cult-triad — Asclepius, Hygieia, Telesphorus — represents the healing arc from intervention through health to recovery-completion. Telesphoros's hooded-child iconography became the canonical visual mark of the convalescence-stage in Greco-Roman medical-cult contexts.
