Mortal Svan, younger natural son of Sulkalmakhi and Darejan; younger foster-brother of Amirani. The "crystal tower, strong and grand" of the Svan epigraph — assigned tower-and-strength imagery distinct from his brother Badri's feminizing-beauty register. One of the Amirani heroic-trio. Killed during the bride-quest sequence alongside Badri.
