Tumu-te-ana-oa

The personified Echo (Gill renders the name the Echo), fourth child of the primordial mother Vari-ma-te-takere and the first plucked from her left side (Gill 1876). She dwells in the caves of Mangaia. Named in the prose of mangaian_vari_ma_te_takere; authored here with the parental link to Vari. Has a standing Wikipedia entry as Tumu-te-ana-oa.
