Fjalar

Norse dwarfs in the sources are not small people with beards; they are makers who kill without motive and trade their way out of it. Fjalar and Galar murder the wisest being alive, ferment him, murder a giant and his wife for the fun of it, and then give the mead away to stay alive. The mead is in Suttungr's mountain because of that transaction.
