Daughter of Minos and Pasiphae; the heroine who gave Theseus the clew of thread to escape the Labyrinth after he slew the Minotaur, was abandoned by him on Naxos, and became the immortalized consort of Dionysus (Hes. Theog. 947-949), her bridal crown set in the sky as Corona Borealis. Authored as quartigod by the descent math (Minos demigod 0.5 + the unregistered Pasiphae counted as mortal 0, /2 = 0.25), matching the corpus precedent of the Theseus×Phaedra children greek_apollod_acamas / greek_apollod_demophon. vitalStatus living = deified/immortalized by Dionysus per Theog. 949.
