Mortal daughter of Teucer, first king of the Troad, and the wife given to Dardanus when he crossed from Samothrace. By Dardanus she bore Ilus (who died childless) and Erichthonius, through whom the Trojan royal line descends. She is the Batea named in the registry Dardanus entry (some sources call her Arisbe). Mother of the registered figure greek_erichthonius, whose maternity was previously unrecorded.
