Half-sister of Lord 8 Deer Jaguar Claw via shared father Lord 5 Crocodile; queen of Red and White Bundle through marriage to Lord 11 Wind "Bloody Jaguar." Her killing in the 1101 Red and White Bundle conquest by 8 Deer is the most-narratively-tragic event in the cluster and structurally the opening of the conflict-arc that culminates in 8 Deer's own sacrificial death by Lord 4 Wind in 1115. The half-sibling-rivalry-then-killing structure is one of the most-explicit dynastic-conflict narratives in any pre-Conquest Mesoamerican source. Caso's genealogical-chronological reconstruction places her birth c. 1047 CE and death in 1101.
