High priest of Tilantongo and father of Lord 8 Deer Jaguar Claw. Genealogical-chronological dating per Caso (1977-1979) places his life c. 1019 CE through unspecified death-date in the late 1060s or 1070s. His two marriages produced two distinct lines: (1) the unnamed first wife produced Lady 6 Lizard "Jade Fan" (subsequently the rival queen of Red and White Bundle); (2) the second wife Lady 9 Eagle of Tecamachalco produced Lord 8 Deer Jaguar Claw and his full brothers Lord 12 Earthquake and Lord 9 Flower. The half-sibling rivalry between Lady 6 Lizard and Lord 8 Deer that culminated in 8 Deer's 1101 conquest of Red and White Bundle (and Lady 6 Lizard's death) traces back genealogically to this two-marriage paternal structure.
