Helenus

Greek · scion · trojan war · scion

Scion — son of Priam and Hecuba, the foremost seer of the Trojans (Cassandra's twin in some accounts), but, unlike her, believed. He counselled Hector, and after his capture revealed the conditions for Troy's fall. He alone of Priam's sons prospered: he married the widowed Andromache and founded a 'little Troy' in Epirus, prophesying to Aeneas in the Aeneid. A rare Dardanid survivor of the catastrophe.
