Sister-founder of the Pacaritambo eight; least narratively-developed of the four Mamas in the chronicle tradition. Sarmiento pairs her as sister-wife of Ayar Uchu, who transformed into the Huanacauri huaca; her structural position is therefore the female-companion-of-the-petrified-brother. In Zuidema's four-quarters reading, the four-Mama / four-Ayar pairing maps the Tahuantinsuyu directional ideology onto the founder generation, with each pair anchoring a quadrant. Cultural ratification primarily through the panaca system inheritance rather than independent cult-site veneration.
